Worst injuries in sports - Worst Sport Injuries - Sporteology

Injuries are an unavoidable when you are an athlete and you play fearlessly and vigorously. Some injuries are bearable and player survive them during the game, survive it so well that they continue playing. But some injuries are such that you cannot bear them and you are taken out from the game and a substitutes plays for your shoes. Injuries that dismiss a person are the one categorized as Worst injuries in Sports. Injuries can be worse than worst, they can stop an athlete not only from playing just a game but many games if the injury is very easy.



In any sport you are likely to get injuries. And they cannot be avoided. They worst injuries are the ones that end your career as an athlete. Some of the worst injuries in sports are.

A hockey player playing his game for more than 10 years was forced to end his career because of the post- concussion syndrome (PCS). In 2005 Culpepper an amazing soccer player, suffered from knee injury while playing against the panthers. He injured three out of four major ligaments in his knee. A famous NBA player Williams suffered from a knee injury he sustained in his third sessions, he tried to come back twice but was never able to play to its full was not able to come back to what he was.

The worst injuries in sports are not just the above mentioned but there are a lot to talk about.


In 2006 a famous English footballer playing for his country broke his ankle. Although he managed to plat after recovery but he could play only one session after that mishap. The ankle injury made him to retire at the very young age of 26. In 1998 the famous boxer Beukeboom had to face a very massive punch from Kings Matt Johnson. It was because of this that he used to suffer headaches, memory loss nausea and confusion. Chris Spielman playing for about 10 years in NFL, but in his last years  he couldn’t play because of his neck injuries and he was limited to play because of this injury which resulted in spinal surgery and then he was forced to retire.
