TERRIBLE DISASTERS - Sporteolgy

We live in a fragile world. We often hear news of some Terrible disasters claiming tens and sometimes even hundreds and thousands of lives. No matter how much human beings try, they simply cannot fight against the forces of nature. Sometimes there are natural disasters that cause havoc and one cannot do anything against them and sometimes there are man-made disasters that claim many lives. Today we are going to talk about the Terrible disasters in sports world.




In case you are wondering what Terrible disasters in sports can happen, there is a lot that can go wrong. If we talk about the Biggest terrible disasters in sports, we come to realize that there isn’t just one type of disaster that can happen and there isn’t just one particular cause behind the 10 terrible disasters in sports. There are many things happening simultaneously during a big sports event. The players are competing on the field and there’s always a chance of passions running high, and things getting out of hand during crunch games. Also, there’s a risk of accidents related to sports and injuries related to sports.


Then there are huge passionate crowds in the stands. Often the fans of different opposing teams sit side by side and there is a hug chance of things getting out of hand. In huge crowds, often the most well behaved people loose there calm and do things that they would not be proud of. Upon looking at the List of terrible disasters in sports we realize that many of the disasters are crowd related. Then we have the security issues. Although the modern day sporting events often have tight security and a lot of police to cover the venue and players, but still some unfortunate event can happen. Last but not the least we have the natural disasters that can strike during sports events. For example, extreme heat can cause heat strokes to not just the players but also the fans in the crowd.


Terrible disasters have always been a part of human history and no matter how hard we try, we simply cannot reduce the risk of disasters to zero. However, it is always better to prepare in advance for any disaster that might happen during a sports event.
