Sports is one thing that brings out the best and the worst of the participating athletes. The passions run high during competitions and these often lead to Heated moments. When we talk about the biggest sport heated moments we have to take in to account a wide range of sports and sporting events. Do you remember Zinedine Zidane headbutt to Materazzi in the 2006 world cup? Well, it surely counts as one of the top heated moments in sport. This is just one example of players heated moments. There are various other examples from various other sports as well. Cricket has its fair share of such moments as well. Who can forget the moment when Amir Sohail challenged VenkateshParsad that he would hit him for a four on the next ball and quite opposite to what he claimed he got clean bowled on the very next ball.



Almost all sports have such occasions where players lose their calm and tensions run high. This often leads to some pretty intense situations that are often regretted by the players. Of course the officials try to calm things down and to bring things in order but sometimes the heat of the moment gets the better of the players.

One thing that all sports teach us is to respect others and to have sportsman spirit. Of course athletes are also humans and they can sometimes they can lose it. But it is at such occasions that one has to show character and has to keep his or her cool. However, spectators and officials also understand the fact that sometimes things are just too intense even for the experienced athletes. No matter how hard they try, they just cannot contain their emotions. They spend their whole lives practicing and preparing for only few minutes of fame and glory and when things go wrong or when they don’t go according to plan, there are high chances of an athlete losing his or her calm.

We have to accept that Heated moments are a part of all sports and they just bring more excitement and passion to the sports.
